SEA Games Ticket Website to Launch 24 April

PHNOM PENH: Minister of Tourism and Permanent Vice President of the Cambodia SEA Games Organizing Committee (CAMSOC), Thong Khon, confirmed Cambodian nationals and foreigners will be able to register for SEA Games tickets online and that they will be distributed in-person at the Morodok Techo National Stadium. He noted that the opening ceremony for the games will also be broadcast online.

Thong Khon said the registration website will be launched 24 April, where fans will be able to register for tickets to the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2023 SEA Games. Ticketholders will need to pick up their tickets directly from the Morodok Techo National Stadium at the end of April.

Cambodia has allocated 3,000 seats for Cambodians abroad. Thong Khon reassured Cambodians who are out of the country that they can still register online and rely on those in the country to pick up their tickets for them.

He said, "Those abroad can apply online and collect the ticket from Morodok Techo Stadium beginning 24 April. You can rely on relatives here to pick up tickets in front of the stadium. They will just need proof of ID.”

During the opening ceremony of the SEA Games on 5 May, Cambodia will welcome 60,000 athletes at the Techo Heritage National Stadium.

Thong Khon said people will be able to pick up their tickets between 8:30 to 11:30 in the morning and from 2:30 to 5:30 in the evening.
